Thank You For Your Help!
Friday Dec 30, 2022
Friday Dec 30, 2022
As many of you know, I do a yearly fundraiser to help families in need in San Diego. It is now the 6th year of this fundraiser and we have been able to help over 30 hungry families. I usually stick to National City, CA because I grew up there and see a big need for help. This year we no different. As always many people stepped up to help with their generosity. I was able to interview two of the families that you all helped. I hope we can continue to keep this tradition alive and help more and more families throughout the years.
Listen to our conversations and remember how lucky we are to have food in our fridge. One day you may be in a position to help those in need and I hope you do!

#72 Brenda Fajardo - La Niña De La Barrita
Sunday Nov 13, 2022
Sunday Nov 13, 2022
Brenda (Stacy) Fajardo was a very brave for coming on the show in the state she was in. We had the unique opportunity of helping Brenda through a break-up live on the air. I commend Brenda for her bravery and for being willing to discuss these topics on air. She has a great attitude and continues to grow and learn. Brenda brings a bit of Mexican history into the show as well and schools us on the death of Colosio also known as Luis Donaldo Colosio Murrieta who was assassinated in 1994 on the streets on Tijuana, MX while on the campaign trail.
The best part of this episode is Brenda Stacy brings amazing energy, hilarity, and vulnerability to the show that I am sure you will all enjoy!

#70 Kristie & Angel Perez - Pumpkin Spice Mental Health
Friday Oct 14, 2022
Friday Oct 14, 2022
Kristie Perez (DSW,LCSW) & Angel Perez (MSW) are the power couple of mental health that this podcast has been waiting for. They are both social workers in San Diego, CA that are consistently working with people in dire need of help. This is why they find ways to not get caught up in work and enjoy their lives. You would think that they would be very jaded and negative because the usually see and hear about the worst or the worst. Especially, when they work with children that are suffering. That's clearly not the case for Kristie & Angel. We also take some time to learn about their relationship and how their different cultures have played a part and continue to be a pumpkin spice filled journey.
No mayo please. Thanks!

Personally they have had a huge impact in my life and I have enjoyed watching them perform live every single time. Join me and DJ Red as we enjoy the music with you along with some other tangents we go on. If you have never heard their music, this is a great opportunity to get introduced.
